VTC – “Vishal the Coiffeur” an all luxury salon is a masterpiece in itself.
The salon is a part of residential building that has been modified to bring the feeling of newness and to create a set up that blends perfectly with the settings of an exclusive professional salon inclusively merging with the essence of the locality.
To start with, the entrance of the salon is the focal point of the building from outside because you see a big blue coloured door standing alone . With the blue door popping out like a symbol to the salon, the salon name is also engraved in the front façade of the building and is filled with glass bricks which acts as a path for daylight to enter into the interiors of the salon.
The mood board of the interior of the salon is very fresh inspired by the ocean and the architect felt it was important to break away from the expected aesthetic of salons and into a celebration of color and materials in much understated way.
The ceiling is ?ller slab made with earthen pots providing heat insulation inside the salon. Along with the filler slab technique the ceiling has another feature of skylight in which the logo of the salon is included and which makes an appearance around the studio with the rotation of the sun.
